While we were getting ready for school Sydney said to me, "Mom, are you going to work again at the school next year?"

I said, "I think so."

She said, "Oh". (in a sad voice)

I said, "Don't you like me being with you at school?"

She said, "I guess. But what I would really like is if you stayed home and cleaned the house".

OUCH!
