Violin

The girls had their first violin lesson 2 days ago. It was SO cute. I hope that I can be motivated to make them practice so that they can endure through this frustrating instrument long enough to develop a talent! I really don't care what they do (violin, piano, sports, etc.) as long as it serves the purpose of giving them something that they feel like they are good at; something to help them to develop self-confidence. I don't want them to be teenagers that have low self esteem. It just hurts my feelings when I hear about these young girls who think they are ugly, who think they don't have any talents or abilities, who think they are fat, etc. because they are daughters of God! I hope that my girls grow up knowing who they are.
